How it works

How Oppsheet works for brokers

Your listings, in front of criteria-matched buyers, without changing how you work. Drop your listing sheet into Claude, either your own tracker or our intake template, and Oppsheet standardizes them and posts them anonymously, with no cap on how many you run. Each listing emails you the moment a buyer signals; buyer reports are formatted to forward straight to your client. No success fees on our side; your engagement and commission are untouched. Your mandate, your process, our distribution.

Buyer intelligence

Live today, on every listing you post. Oppsheet tells you who has signaled interest, how each buyer lines up against that specific listing, and what needs your attention this week.

Per-listing buyer tiers

Every buyer who signals is tiered against that listing, not against your book in general. The tier is built from the buyer’s own attestations (funding basis, transaction type, sector focus, geography, size range) weighed against that listing’s sector, state, revenue band, and cash-flow disclosure. The same buyer can tier differently on two of your listings, because the fit is different.

Immediate interest notifications

The moment a buyer signals interest, the email goes to that listing’s own agent, with your admin address copied. A multi-agent shop gets the alert on the desk that holds the mandate, and the firm keeps a complete copy of every one.

One daily rollup, not one email per listing

A single daily email covers every listing you have active. New activity is ordered first, and each listing carries its own countdown, so the whole book reads top to bottom in one pass.

Spreadsheet import with duplicate detection

Drop in your own tracker and Oppsheet maps it to the Oppsheet taxonomy, then checks it against what you have already posted. Duplicates surface in the preview table before anything goes live, so re-importing an updated sheet never double-posts your book.

6-month terms, with countdowns

Listings run on a 6-month term. Every rollup carries the countdown, and extending is one sentence in Claude: add 1 month or 3 months, as often as the mandate needs.

Buyer tiers reflect a series of buyer attestations provided to Oppsheet and refreshed over time, weighed against each specific listing. They are not a verification, endorsement, or general rating of any buyer. Tiers do not predict whether a buyer will close; run your own diligence before acting on one.

Build your block

Fill in what applies to you and copy the result into Claude. Skip anything you don’t know yet: the bracketed prompt stays, and Claude will ask.

The Builder

This block has no blanks to fill. It works exactly as written.

Nothing to fill in here. The broker block is written to work for any mandate, so it carries no placeholders. Copy it as-is and upload your sheet. Need a starting format? Download the intake template linked below.

Nothing you type here leaves your browser. No account needed, and nothing you enter is stored.

Power Setup

Five minutes now, and Oppsheet runs itself.

Brokers run two motions on Oppsheet: distribution and monitoring. Set both up once:

  1. Create a Claude Project called “Oppsheet listings” and paste the “Copy for Claude” block above into its project instructions. Drop your listing sheets into this project: bulk imports, previews, and posting all happen here with your mandate context already loaded.
  2. Set a weekly scheduled task with the pipeline prompt below. Every listing already emails you the moment a buyer signals; the weekly run is your portfolio view, and it drafts your client updates for you. (No scheduled tasks? Calendar reminder + the word “pipeline.”)

Weekly pipeline (scheduled task)

Use Oppsheet and run my pipeline. Show all my listings with delivered and interested-buyer counts by reference. Flag anything that changed since last week. For each listing that moved, draft a short client update I can forward, with buyer counts and buyer profiles only, no identities, matching what my client is allowed to see. If any listing has had no movement for three weeks, suggest what we might adjust.
On the roadmap

When Oppsheet Connect launches, add one line to your scheduled task: “Also check requests for me: any business owners seeking broker representation in my sectors?” Owners will be able to post anonymous requests for representation, delivered to brokers who’ve opted in, capped, never spammed. Transaction-advisory requests route to brokers, so your listing network and your inbound advisory pipeline live in one place.

The pattern: Oppsheet emails you the moment something happens. Your Claude Project is where the judgment happens. The scheduled scan just makes sure judgment happens on schedule.

A worked example

⚠ Illustrative example

A generic persona, start to finish. Not a real member, and not real deal data.

A two-person advisory shop uploading its current mandate list, using its own tracker rather than our template.

Their completed block

I'm an M&A broker/advisor using Oppsheet (the M&A connector) to distribute client listings. When I upload a spreadsheet of deals, extract every listing, show me ONE preview table mapped to Oppsheet's taxonomy, and post only after I confirm, max 10 per import, and ask about any missing figure rather than estimating. When I say "pipeline", show all my listings with delivered and interest counts by reference. When buyers signal (I get emails), help me review responders per listing and produce forwardable Interested Buyer Reports for my clients. I affirm I hold a current, authorized mandate for every business I list. All listings are anonymous until I choose to connect a buyer.

The one preview table, before anything posts

3 listings extracted and mapped to Oppsheet’s taxonomy. Nothing is live yet. Review and confirm:

One gap: BRK-2026-021 has no cash-flow figure. I won’t estimate it. What should it be, or post without it? Say confirm and all three go live anonymously under your account.

Your reference stays private to you. Buyers see only the anonymized listing.
Illustrative example

Everyone else sells attention. We sell the introduction.

On a listing site or an email blast, your deal goes to everyone, and the few buyers who fit are lost in the noise. On Oppsheet the buyers who fit are the only ones who see it, and you see them tiered for that deal, without anyone's contact details moving until both sides say yes.

See how it works

Buyer tiers reflect a series of buyer attestations provided to Oppsheet and refreshed over time, weighed against each specific listing. They are not a verification, endorsement, or general rating of any buyer. Tiers do not predict whether a buyer will close; run your own diligence before acting on one.
